Built in 1875, this home was designed by Jonathan Goldsmith who trended towards a Greek Revival style in his architecture. The home has been carefully restored to retain much of the original woodwork and details, and is a landmarked historical home. Nestled within 95 acres of Federally protected wildlife and nature preserve in the Grand River Valley Region along the shore of Lake Erie (well-known for wine production!) this home is a potent reminder that new is not always (or typically) better.
